قصة الفيلم
في أحياء (نيو أورليانز) الفقيرة، يحاول المحقق المُنهك (شان رايلي) التكيّف مع وفاة ابنه الصغير وفشل زواجه. وبينما يواجه احتمال الإيقاف عن العمل، يُكلّف (رايلي) بالعمل مع محقق جرائم قتل شاب، (ويل غانز)، للحلّ في سلسلة من جرائم القتل الوحشية التي أورطت المدينة في حرب عصابات كبيرة. سرعان ما يدرك الاثنان أن هناك أمراً أكبر بكثير وأكثر خبثاً مما كانا يتخيلان.
